The Kickstarter campaign for “Grow Up, Tony Phillips,” the next project from 19-year-old writer/director Emily Hagins – the kid movie genius who debuted her first feature length film, “Pathogen,” at age 11.

“Grow Up, Tony Phillips” is an independent comedy about a teen who just can’t let go of his love for Halloween. It stars Tony Vespe and Devin Bonnée of Hagins’ film, “My Sucky Teen Romance” and Jamie Landau (Jon Landau’s son, in his first feature film). Recently AJ Bowen (“A Horrible Way to Die,” “You’re Next”) and Barbara Crampton (“Re-Animator,” “From Beyond”) signed up for the project, as well.

The project is being partly financed on Kickstarter. The campaign has raise about $20,000 already but has 12 days left to reach its $75,000 goal. Limited-edition posters by Mondo artist Jay Shaw is available exclusively through the campaign. Check them out and show your support on the “Grow Up, Tony Phillips” Kickstarter.
