Red-band trailer for “The Man with the Iron Fists” is eye-popping

It isn’t directed by Quentin Tarantino, but judging by the new trailer, Tarantino definitely dabbled his hand in “The Man with the Iron Fists.” A tribute to kung fu, the film is directed by and stars musician and music producer RZA, and written by RZA and Eli Roth. Together, the two didn’t skimp out on any over-the-top effects. The red-band trailer is bloody and brutal, but all in good fun – as usual with any film Tarantino and Roth are involved in.

A resident blacksmith (RZA) of a small Chinese village is forced to create elaborate weapons for various clans. When a war breaks out between rivals and threatens the existence of the village, The Blacksmith must learn to protect himself and his community.

Check out the gory trailer below.

Also starring Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, Rick Yune and Pam Grier, “The Man with the Iron Fists” opens in theaters Nov. 2.
